If you’ve ever wanted to try out PlayStation Plus without subscribing, now’s your chance.
Sony is making its online service free for a whole week as part of a multiplayer event that runs from today (February 17) until February 23 at midnight in the US and from 10am on February 22 to February 26 at midnight in Europe.
You don’t even need to sign up to anything to get involved.

“All you need to do is get comfy, pick out your favourite games from your collection, pop them in your PS4 and you’ll find all the online modes unlocked and ready to play,” a post on the official PlayStation blog read.
“So you don’t really have anything to lose by trying it out, and you never know, you might find that PlayStation Plus takes you to places you never thought possible where you can meet like-minded gamers all looking for people to play with.”
If the free trial gives you a hankering for PlayStation Plus, you can sign up for 12 months’ membership in the UK for £39.99 and $59.99 in the US.
A full PlayStation Plus membership gives you access to two PS4 games every month, alongside exclusive discounts on PlayStation Store.
